Traineeships get you ready for work and give you some real work experience.
What are traineeships?
Traineeships are really simple:
A training programme delivered by us - focussing on the skills, attitudes and behaviours employers look for.
Help with your English and maths, if you need it.
A work experience placement of around 3-6 weeks in a business.
An exit interview from your work placement.
Who are they for?
Anybody aged 16-24 who would benefit from some help to get into work and on with their career.
How do you benefit?
Our training programme will equip you with the skills, attitudes and behaviours employers are looking for. We will also make sure employers recognise what you have to offer – helping you perfect your CV and interview technique.
Your work experience placement will be matched to your interests and where you want to be in life. This will give you real work experience in a job or career you’re interested in. You can use this experience when applying for apprenticeships or jobs – or you may find you placement leads to these. Lots of our trainees are offered further opportunities with their placement employer.
Ultimately traineeships help you get to where you to go next – whether that’s employment or an apprenticeship. We will continue to support you until you have secured an apprenticeship, employment or further training.
