31/01/2022 – 11/02/2022 (30 hours over Monday to Saturday)



Classroom-based for the first two weeks, at North Hertfordshire College, Monkswood Way, Stevenage, SG1 1LA

Work-based placement for the second two weeks, at either the Royston or Biggleswade Marks & Spencer store, depending on assigned placement.

This new store is set to become the benchmark for future Marks & Spencer stores across the country, so this is an exciting opportunity you won’t want to miss.

Hart Learning & Development’s partnered employability scheme will set you up with all the skills you need for a successful career at Marks & Spencer. Take part in two weeks of classroom-based training to learn more about what makes good customer service, before taking on a placement at a Marks & Spencer store to put your skills to the test. Successful completion of a placement will result in a job offer, ready for the final stages of training to prepare for the store opening.

Please note: Learners must be aged 18+ to apply. Completion of the placement to a satisfactory standard will result in a job offer.

Qualifications Covered


Training which will help you prepare for work opportunities, you will gain:

  • Level 1 Certificate in Occupational Studies
  • Level 1 Certificate in Customer Service
  • Level 1 Award in Work Experience Preparation



Your Tutor will support you through your Training. Job opportunities will be available upon successful completion of the work placement element.
