HLD have been delivering healthcare apprenticeships for public and private health sector clients since 2017, enrolling over 80 learners onto Healthcare Support Worker, Senior Healthcare Support Worker, and Healthcare Assistant Practitioner courses. As a result of HLD’s partnership with Gloucester Hospitals NHS Trust and Gloucester Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and delivering a collaborative approach to programme design and continuous reflection and development of the programmes, their healthcare apprenticeship programmes have had great success.
The Apprenticeship Team Manager at Gloucester Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said of their work with HLD:
“We have been working with Hart Learning and Development for the past 3 years and have found it to be a very positive experience for ourselves and our apprentices. The relationship has been built with a focus on continued regular communication and development of the programme delivery. They are engaging and take forward our ideas to enhance their teaching, working closely to deliver our Trust’s values, behaviours and mission statement.”
Lindsey Sherring, Director of Apprenticeships at Hart Learning & Development, said of the award: “Hart Learning & Development are delighted to have won the National Health & Science Apprenticeship Provider of the Year Award. The Award is testimony to the great employer relationships we have in the sector and the commitment and hard work of Apprentices and Tutors alike. We are delighted we have been able to support such a valuable sector in continuing to develop talent during challenging times.”
