What inspired you to apply for this role with Hart Learning & Development?
“I love to see how people can learn and develop and get the career they’re looking for. Before joining Hart Learning & Development, I used to work as a coach for another college where I worked with managers at Nissan in Sunderland. I’ve also worked as a training manager in the past and in the training department for Northumbria police, so I’ve got lots of experiencing in training and coaching roles.”
What do you enjoy the most about working with Hart Learning & Development?
“I enjoy working with all the different people, both staff and apprentice learners. The teams in Hart Learning & Development are good too, they’re great people who are fun to work with and all bring their different experiences to what they do.
“One of my highlights of working here is when I have supported learners who have fallen behind on work, and helping them work things out so that they succeed when they thought they wouldn’t.”
If you could give one piece of advice to someone who is thinking of starting an apprenticeship or training programme with Hart Learning & Development, what would it be?
“I would say that you need to make sure you manage your time well and plan things in advance. It’s important that you stay on top of things, but don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it. We’re here to support you and want to see you succeed.”
