Skills For Health Quality Mark

Hart Learning & Development have been awarded the Skills for Health Quality Mark in recognition of their excellence in delivering healthcare apprenticeships.

The Skills for Health Quality Mark accreditation recognises training providers which meet the rigorous compliance standards of the UK healthcare sector. It provides certification that Hart Learning & Development’s training follows robust, well-considered assessment practices and meets nationally recognised expectations of the skills and knowledge required of staff working in the UK healthcare sector.

Through the Quality Mark, employers who work with HLD can be reassured that the support and delivery offered to them and their learners is of a consistently high standard, meeting sector needs through evidence-based practice. This also allows Hart Learning & Development to continually improve their apprenticeship offer, developing new qualification programmes that meet the needs of the local and wider area.

Hart Learning & Development have been delivering healthcare apprenticeships for public and private health sector clients since 2017, enrolling over 80 learners onto Healthcare Support Worker, Senior Healthcare Support Worker, and Healthcare Assistant Practitioner programmes.

The Skills for Health Quality Mark accreditation is the latest accolade for Hart Learning & Development’s Health and Social Care apprenticeship provision, following the recent success at the 2022 FE Week and AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards, where Hart Learning & Development won the Health & Science Apprenticeship Provider of the Year award.

An extract from the Skills for Health report reads:

“Tutors constantly stretch and challenge learners academically and promote and encourage them to access and achieve in their career aspirations….they want their learners to achieve successful apprenticeships. Their programmes are carefully developed with employer input to ensure that they provide apprentices with the knowledge and skills required to access career opportunities in the health and care sector.

Management and tutors are passionate about delivering quality programmes and advise, guide, track and support learners to achieve successful apprenticeships. This is all underpinned by the strong policies and procedures that NHC have in place. Learners enjoy their learning and tutors enjoy working at the College”

Sherry House, Apprenticeship Programme Manager for Hart Learning & Development, said: “Gaining this award means a lot to the Hart Learning & Development team, as it recognises the effort and dedication the team have put in to their work to achieve this. We’ll continue to build on the skills and knowledge needed to provide a quality service for a demanding and challenging sector.”
