The UK Government’s Youth Employment Package features financial incentives for SMEs hiring apprentices. The package removes financial barriers to apprenticeships by removing national insurance contributions and providing one-off payments for apprentices meeting various criteria.
These incentives are available from October 2026. Don’t miss out – start your SME’s apprenticeship journey and prepare for the October incentives.

Develop your employees’ essential maths and English skills through supportive classes, taught by our dedicated maths and English team.
This course typically lasts 10 weeks and allows employees to gain a Functional Skills qualification in English or maths at either Level 1 or 2.
Our Student Wellbeing Team supports apprentices and students with issues they may experience during their studies. This might include mental health, finance, learning support or other more specific needs.

We’re really pleased and proud that Ofsted rated our apprenticeship provision as “good”. In our last Ofsted report we were commended for how “apprentices develop new skills and the professional behaviours they need to be successful in their future careers.” Ofsted also praised our apprenticeships for meeting the needs of local, regional and national employers and playing an important role in closing skills gaps.
